Overview
Sea Child in Tales of Dune opens with a Bene Gesserit named Corysta trying to live unnoticed after the conquest of Buzzell. The killing of the other Sisters makes even everyday behavior dangerous.
Place in the universe
This narrative adds a local perspective to the later conflicts of the original novels. A planet’s occupation appears here less through grand strategic maps than through the narrowing of one person’s freedom of movement.
